With over 500 hotels, Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the UK. And with more customers choosing a hotel chain that offers value for money, the website is a critical part of their business, being the primary source of bookings.
With the benefit of a long-standing relationship with Premier Inn, we were tasked with the brief to redevelop the entire site architecture, building a digital platform to support rich marketing campaigns and a best in class user experience.
By putting the legacy site aside and developing the new site from the ground up, we provided a flexible and seamless integration into a number of enterprise technologies such as Day communiqué (CMS) and Microsoft Bing maps, in addition to Premier Inn’s reservation system.
Every booking starts with a search, which is why particular attention was put towards the development of an advanced search tool that searches through a vast database of place names, postcodes and popular attractions in the UK to find the best match for the user.
We are now working with Premier Inn to expand on the new platform, to help them realise their strategic vision for the brand.
